4th of July!

Alright, so one of the things on my Summer Bucket List  was to run the Oakley 5K. 

Well, that race happens on the 4th of July. 

About July 1st my family decided that we wanted to go to Bear Lake for the 4th. One of my classes was cancelled and I would just miss my other class the morning of the 5th, and then we would drive home so that I could get to my 5pm class on Thursday. 

My class that I was going to just skip ended up getting cancelled anyways as well :)

I was all for it cause I needed to get away from this city. Badly.

But, I then couldn't run the Oakley 5K. 

I was ok with it :)

So, after my last class on Tuesday, my mom, dad, and brother picked me up from the Institute and we headed up to the lake.

The only sad thing was, all open flames and fireworks were banned around the lake, so I didn't get to see any fireworks for the 4th :( 

But, just being there was good enough for me!

It was a glorious, much needed trip! I can't wait to go back up in a few weeks :)
