I'm feelin' 22!

Last week was BIRTHDAY WEEK!!

Now, birthdays are great every year, but this year was especially great.
You know why it was so great??

It was my GOLDEN BIRTHDAY!!

For those of you that don't know, the definition of a Golden Birthday, according to Urban Dictionary, is "the birthday when you turn the same age as your birthdate."

My birthday is February 22nd. I turned 22 this year! And not only was it my golden birthday, 22 is my favorite and lucky number! EVEN BETTER!

My dad's birthday also happens to be 3 days before mine, which obviously means that we have to celebrate for the whole week, usually starting with the President's Day Holiday each year!

On Saturday the 15th, we went to Yogurtland and I went all out ;)

On Monday the 17th, we went out to dinner with the fam at Applebees. It was delish!

On Tuesday the 18th, it was kinda just a chill day around the Fotheringham household.

On Wednesday the 19th, I went with a few friends to the Utah Men's Basketball Game!

On Thursday the 20th, I went to the Founder's Day Dinner at the Little America Hotel hosted by the University of Utah Alumni Association with fellow members of the Student Alumni Board.

On Friday the 21st, I went to Crimson Nights with my good friend Tiffany and we basically ate free food all night :)

On Saturday the 22nd, I went out to breakfast at Kneaders with some friends, then went to the Utah Gymnastics meet (and won $10) to witness another Utah victory, then came home and partied it up with friends!

It was basically just an all-around good week!

Here is some T-Swift for your enjoyment, as well as for being my theme song for the next year :)

I've Caught the VISION

At the University of Utah, we are in the midst of ASUU General Elections. Which to some students means not being able to walk through library plaza without being bombarded by members of each party and them encouraging you to vote (specifically for their party).

To other students, it means stepping up. It means getting involved in your college experience. It means making your voice heard.
I am one of those students.

I used to be one of the first kinds of students, where I would change my route around campus to avoid the chaos. Until last year, when I was part of the LDSSA core group for the PEAK Party. I got involved with the elections process, even though I wasn't running for a position. I rather enjoyed it, even though my party's "head 3" didn't win.

This year, I decided that I should get even more involved. So I am.

I am running with the Vision Party as the Assembly representative for the College of Nursing.

I am really excited about what this party stands for and for the visions that they have for the university next year.

Here is a link to the Vision Party's Campaign video!

Believe it when U see it!

June 12th, 2014

In October 2013, my sister and brother-in-law told us that they were pregnant! The baby is due on June 12th, 2014!

We then decided that we weren't going to tell my brother, who is on a mission in New York, until we were able to talk to him on Christmas Day.

My sister sent him a package for Christmas and told him not to open it until we were able to Skype. You can see the video of his reaction here

In January, the ultrasound was done to be able to find out the gender of the baby!
And I am going to be getting a beautiful....

BABY NIECE!!!

I am so so excited! So, I obviously had to go and get the Little Miss some Utah onesies!!

Adorable right?? I am so excited for this little girl to come into the world and be raised in an amazing family!
Congrats Em and Jess!! :)
